The Division is responsible for preserving and promoting Florida’s historical, archaeological and folk culture resources.
Powell is the Florida Senator for District 24 where he has served since 2016. He also serves the Palm Beach County Legislative Delegation as the Chairman. In 2003, Powell received his B.S. degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Journalism, and in 2006, his M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University.
