Secretary Detzner Reminds Voters of Early Voting Options for Florida’s Primary Election

Today, Secretary of State Ken Detzner issued the following statement regarding early voting prior to Florida’s upcoming Primary Election on Tuesday, August 28.

“Early voting offers registered Florida voters another convenient way to cast their ballot before Election Day,” said Secretary Detzner. “All 67 counties will offer early voting from August 18 through August 25 at designated early voting sites. Some counties may offer additional days of early voting. Contact your local Supervisor of Elections for information about early voting dates, times and locations in your county.”

Voters in Florida have three options to exercise their right to vote: voting-by-mail, early voting and voting at the polls on Election Day. Voters are encouraged to contact their local Supervisor of Elections’ office for additional information about these options.

The Division of Elections posts early voting dates, times and locations for all counties on its website. The Division also posts daily online statistics on early voting and vote-by-mail based on county-specific reports filed by Supervisors of Elections.
