Florida Department of State - All Florida residents are touched in some way by the programs, services and activities of the Department of State.

Elections - The Florida Voter Registration System has more than 10.2 million registered voters.

Archives - The Florida Photographic Collection features over 150,000 digitized photographs from the State Archives of Florida.

Corporations - Corporations maintains almost eight million business records, and Sunbiz receives almost nine million hits per week.

Museum - As the state history museum, the Museum of Florida History focuses on artifacts and eras unique to Florida's development.

Preservation - Over 187,000 archaeological and historic sites are recorded in the Florida Master Site File.

Archaeology - There are currently eleven underwater preserves and historic sites throughout the state of Florida.

Cultural Affairs - Cultural Affairs impacts all of Florida's 67 counties by supporting over 25,000 cultural events.

Customer Service

In compliance with the Florida Customer Service Standards Act, Florida State Statute 23.30, citizens can report poor customer service or improper treatment by Department of State Employees to the Ombudsman Office.
